Anglican Inspiration

Robert E Webber, "Evangelicals on the Canterbury Trail. Why Evangelicals are attracted to the liturgical church"

An American walks into an English church and is stunned at encountering services based on the bible. Postscripts to this revised edition make it clear that Webber was not interested in joining Anglicanism, but in reforming Evangelicalism.

"I find when most people are honest about their spiritual pilgrimage, they admit to the difficulty of maintaining the habit of a spiritual discipline. What attracts me most about the Anglican spiritual tradition is that it provides purposeful spiritual direction in the life of Christ."
