OHRN is committed to working collaboratively to restore the ecological health of the Opawaho Heathcote River and its catchment.
You can help make the river healthier by turning up to clean up events, installing a LittaTrap in your stormwater drain, taking your friends for walks along the river and its reserves, or picking up any litter you see.

Behind the Scout Den in Centaurus Rd is the “Tiny Forest”, an indigenous riparian reserve along the Heathcote River.
The King George V Reserve Trust is always looking for volunteers!
