For your prayer
Give us clarity over what is important, and help us avoid temptation, greed, and the incessant need for ‘more’. We thank you for pattern of simplicity and contentment you show us in Jesus. Lord, may we work for a more just an equitable distribution of the resources of the world.
We continue to seek your blessing for the Lambeth conference. Give the gathered bishops wisdom, patience, and a strong desire for unity. May the Lambeth calls lead us into action, and help us to be your church for your world.
We pray for those we know who are sick or in need of our prayers.
